About Me

My background includes two years of education in the Landscape Design Program at Portland Community College. I have been involved with the Landscape/Florist trade since 1994, owning my own cut flower business and working in retail plant sales for local area nurseries. I am a member of the Association of Northwest Landscape Designers and also the Hardy Plant Society. To keep current in my trade, I attend a variety of seminars and workshops annually.

Second Nature Landscape Design has been creating gardens since 2001 in the Portland/Vancouver Metro areas. My own garden is located in Beaverton, Oregon, and I share it with six cats and my husband Randy, who still cannot believe that plants can be frequently relocated all over the garden…. like rearranging furniture!
